I thought it fitting, to start with real life documented mind control! (Control..control..control.. echo)
If I may, this is the first ever installment, so I will briefly explain the purpose..
I am often up at night, my mind doesn't rest.. I decided I wanted to start a kinda scary story group to find other night owls.. I want to hear from you!!
These stories however are completely true, and you have my word, to recount them to the utmost of my recollection! These topics I am passionate about, so it should be easy!!
Now, back to the show!!
Tonight's episode.. Real Mind Control.
For most of you, when you think of mind control maybe you see those hourglass helmets Jim carry used as the riddler,(But my fav bat was the birdman, as an inventor, hearing Batman ask the woman how much she weighed, knowing it is actually realistic if we going to be flying with essentially just ropes and gears, to see her face, priceless..fyi), for others maybe you're sure you see mind control when a youth doesn't answer because of tiktok-trance..
Well NO! Tonight, we are going to talk about the real thing!
It may puzzle you to know, the “Hat” we will be discussing tonight, was made back in like the 50s.
If you would like to do your own research, the “Hat” was used on a bull, and put on the front page of the newspaper.. I believe it was built by a doctor named Javier, with Harvard or Yale I believe. In the demonstration, a man is carrying a red cape, as tradition, and he carries a radio control button.. as the bull charges, he hits the button, and the bull not only stops, but retreats. Def front page worthy!
Shortly after that the hat was decommissioned, and I'd bet none of you have ever heard of it..

Wouldn't be much of a story would it? I can just picture(unless you want privacy), all these chicks in PJ's reading in bed.. and feeling let down.. and in bed of all places!! I can't stand for it!!
Well luckily for you, there were plenty of human trials! Even video recorded ones!
So how does it work? What does it do?
To tell you, I'll recount my favorite video demonstration..
The scientists got a professional guitarist, a woman.
They were a bit misleading with their intention, and said they wanted to see how the brain reacted when performing, they told her they were possibly looking to make a record as well, so she must be a pro.. to which she assured, she was..
The first time she played was uneventful for the experiment, the baseline, if you will.. and she was honest, she played like a radio, spot on!!
Then after they knew she was skilled and once they knew the song melody, they asked her to try again..
This time, halfway through, the smallest amount of energy was used.. with the dial on the lowest setting they engage the button, and they are astonished!!
This woman, a professional guitarist and singer, in the middle of her song, was frozen.. her hand was mid strum, and she stayed petrified like that for upwards of thirty seconds..
When the scientists hit the button, to disengage it, her hand fell to strike the cords, and she kept playing as if nothing had happened..
What's more, after they let her finish, they asked her, “So you believe that was record quality? You didn't miss a beat?”
To which this woman replies with utmost certainty, “Didn't miss a beat, record quality!”
Simply put, the time was missed to her.. she had no knowledge that her consciousness had any lapse.
Now, that was just on the lowest setting, the scientists went through the whole dial, and they found.. using different amounts, created different emotions.. as if, a tiny trickle was enough to freeze the brain, stop your electricity from getting through, like a glitch for a computer.. but that larger amounts of electricity, were able to pilot the form completely separately of the consciousness..
These are some of the different buttons able to be programmed in, Happy and efficient, sad, horny(just gotta say, I think the researcher said it was like their best James Bond girl, trying to describe the behavior), love, and riot where on the buttons too..
Ah dear reader, our story comes to a close..
But, my favorite information from this experiment, was from the remote buttons..
You see most emotions in the brain, were roughly ten decimal places away on the electric dial, like a pattern.. every ten places, that's where the next button would be, but the most powerful lesson I can see from it.. was the two buttons that were practically touching.. the amount of electricity for two buttons, we're almost the same..
One button was riot, it was said that in this mode you would destroy anything you could touch, injuring yourself or others without a thought..
The button that was only a hair away, is love!
Ha that is incredibly powerful to me.. most emotions may be about the same distance apart on a graph, but love, is actually very very close to riot!

Now, for a tiny bit of good news..
I hope one day to revamp it, and have safetys on it.. so that if people don't enjoy doing a job, but still want to.. instead of using a drug.. they will have a cubby at work with a hat, they just flip on, and then the next thing they remember will be walking into the cubby stall, and it is removed, kinda like that click movie, fast forward through unpleasant parts, and you can still be a great worker!
Oh and with it being so safe, it's hard to imagine a politician not willingly putting it on, just for a minute, to squash scandals or rumors, since we can get the truth out of them!! “Uh do you have it in green??” (Ha ha)
