Tired of Election Uncertainty? There's a Solution.
Let's cut to the chase. I've seen countless stories about potentially hacked elections, about people "just knowing" the outcome was wrong. Yeah, no kidding! (Sorry for the frustration, but you'll see why.) I care about fair elections, and I've devised a way to achieve them.
Think about the apps you use every day. They flawlessly retain your preferences, right? When's the last time your relationship status or age was incorrect in an app? Never. Because apps work. So, prepare for your mind to be blown: if we created a voting app, it could securely hold your vote too!
Worried about hacking? A transparent, auditable system, where voters can verify their choices, eliminates that risk. Imagine checking a box: "Yes, I want my vote verified!" Everyone can verify. Problem solved.
"But the government won't recognize it!" you might say. Baloney! If a clear majority of the population votes one way, and politicians claim the opposite, you know they're lying. This app offers transparent oversight, a way to hold them accountable.
And soon, you'll realize: if politicians are honest, why do we even need them? The app can track votes perfectly! Let them find real jobs, instead of being tempted by dishonesty and corruption. Every vote equal, everyone gets one.
We can even use it to enact real change. Imagine a vote: "Should we move away from four-year terms and instead evaluate our leaders monthly, removing them if they fail to meet the majority's needs?" The old system is crumbling anyway; let's build a better one.
This isn't some futuristic fantasy. A skilled designer could build this app in under a month. I call it "The President Should…" Soon, you'll be able to see every vote, at state and federal levels. Those in power can instantly understand the majority’s will. We can suggest new votes, and if they gain traction, we can vote to make real change monthly. We deserve a responsive government, one that truly reflects the will of the people!
Want to help? Sharing this post is a great start. Want to contribute financially? I'll be transparent about all donations and Substack earnings. I promise, money isn't my motivation (see my other posts). But if becoming a paid subscriber is the easiest way to support this, do that! Programmers, if you can deliver, bid on the job in the comments. Let's say $5,000 is the target. We can make this happen today.
I have many ideas to improve our lives, but this post is focused on the app. Check my other posts for more. If you have a better idea, I'm open to hearing it. But I genuinely believe this is the fastest, easiest, and most effective way to fix our apparently broken voting system.
Sorry for the… passion. I've seen so many posts about this issue, posts that clearly took hours of research and writing. So, do you want to just talk about it? Or do you want to fix it?
